The Potteries Museum & Art Gallery in Stoke-on-Trent marked the 250 anniversary by holding an exhibit, "Josiah Wedgwood: the Man In The Making" which looked at Wedgwood's life, career and contemporaries which included the move to Etruria. The exhibition features important pieces produced by Wedgwood's peers including Thomas Whieldon, William Greatbatch, and john &Thomas Wedgwood along with items by josiah
